Oracle Developer

General Job Description (specifics):
The primary objective of this position is to develop Oracle forms, reports, PL/SQL procedures, SQL and shell scripts.

-Design and develop technical solutions to business requirements as defined by end users and subject matter experts.
-Work as part of a development team to develop Oracle forms, reports, packages, alerts, triggers, workflow, and queries within guidelines for delivery dates and quality.
-Ensure that best practices and company standards are followed in the system development lifecycle as dictated by company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
-Develop documentation that sufficiently describes the technical deliverable as required for internal controls, and so that maintenance responsibility can be passed on to others in the production support team.
-Offer advice, training, expertise and assistance to other members of the development team in the design, build, and implementation of technology solutions through participation in formal code review processes and informal knowledge sharing.
-Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with management, team members, subject matter experts and end-users.
-Maintain a safe work environment in the performance of all job responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have Skill sets and yrs of experience:
-A minimum of three years work experience as a developer in an Oracle Applications (eBusiness Suite) project or support environment.

In depth technical working knowledge of the following a MUST:
-Oracle PL/SQL
-Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms / Reports )

In depth working knowledge of the following a plus:
-Oracle DBMS
-Oracle 11i Order Management, Financial, and/or Manufacturing Modules
-Oracle Workflow Builder
-Oracle Designer
-Oracle Applications Framework
-Oracle Application APIs and AOL
-Discoverer reports / EUL creation
-UNIX Shell Scripting and file transfer tools
-Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications related to Oracle Applications technology.
-Experience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative and innovation, and ability to manage competing priorities, varying workload yet still achieve results.
-Possess strong investigative and analytical skills.
-Possess strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English with management and other technical resources.
-Understanding of Spanish a plus.
-Oracle Developer Certification a plus.

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
-Permanent U.S. residency required.
