Oracle Database Support

Responsibilities: Oracle Database Support is responsible for assisting in the implementation, communication, and enforcement of standards across IT, working with users in the development community. Functional duties for this role include: Define and document data requirements as the foundation for database design, data extraction, analysis or cleansing. Support the Sr. Data Analyst in data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts. Use modeling and data analysis tools as well as ER and dimensional modeling techniques. Perform quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Develop, support, and propagate sound data quality practices, including data naming. Build, maintain, and test premier online sites that support the company's B2B initiative within stated SLAs. Proactively manage content and profiles to reduce recurrence of customer effecting outages and escalations. Maintain customer satisfaction by communicating SLAs and other variables affecting deliverables accurately to set customer expectations. Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding profiles, functionality & general content in a timely manner. Represent the B2B eCommerce organization as SMEs for CBO, premier and the Resource Centers and training new team members on their functionality. Assist with additional projects & 911 outages as necessary. Recommend development and/or enhancement of existing or future application.
