Oracle Data Warehouse Lead

Purpose: Our client, based in Huntsville, AL is actively seeking an Oracle Data Warehouse Infrastructure Lead. The candidate must have experience as an Oracle SBA as well as experience with data warehousing, multi-dimensional concepts, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is required. Experience with CMMI, Oracle 10g, Oracle Designer, and Oracle Warehouse Builder, and PL/SQL concepts are a plus. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are absolute requirements of this position. The Oracle Data Warehouse Infrastructure Lead must have extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and the ability to guide the technical implementation of the Data Warehouse architecture that supports the needs of the customer. The Oracle Data Warehouse Infrastructure Lead duties include the supervision of the infrastructure team which is responsible for Database Administration (DBA), performance tuning, operating system and network support for Software Engineering and Test environments. Data Warehousing expertise is essential for collaboration with government agencies on plans for the hardware and software required for the target Production architecture. Strong skills in scheduling/planning and adhering to on time delivery are a must. This Lead will be the primary support to the customer infrastructure personnel during installation of software and managed loads of released datasets.

A Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 14 years of relevant Oracle experience is required. The position also requires a Secret clearance in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
