On a daily basis, this individual will be supporting the applications of a Fortune 100 company with 80+ DB instances.To qualify for this position, individuals should have a minimum of 5 years of DBA experience. The skillset is as follows: experience with larger databases, database tuning, Oracle Application management, upgrades and patches, backup and recovery, experience with GVC, HERMES and USBP applications helpful, strong UNIX background & Unix scripting, experience with high-availability environments.All 3 DBA openings are considered 3-month contract-to-hire positions.Database performance evaluation and tuning, support of data backup and failover procedures, batch process monitoring.General resource for ad-hoc assistance to our clients' databases.Coordination with other teams, including infrastructure management and external hardware vendors.Implementation of procedures to ensure security and integrity of the clients' databases.Design and impelment data models and database designs.
REQUIREMENTS
