Department Description: The Oracle Program Management Office is responsible for establishing an Enterprise Oracle Roadmap for Motorola, working collaboratively with each IT Organization. Within the Oracle space, providing a framework for better decisions, quicker responsiveness, maximizing investments and performing independent program health checks

Responsibilities/Expectations: Create and maintain an integrated enterprise Oracle roadmap across all of Motorola that is responsive to the business needs and supports the IT SLT vision and strategic direction.

Understands strategic implications and opportunities of IT and Business initiatives providing the thought leadership to drive the Oracle Applications roadmap. Evaluate alternative technical and process solutions to the business requirements including development vs. process change. Translating requirements into a technical /process system model and describing the architecture, components, and interrelationships.

Combines initiative, creativity and excellent communication, decision-making and persuasion skills to raise critical issues to operational levels of visibility.

A natural curiosity, intellectual capacity, desire to learn, reaching outside of their area to learn new skills and new technology.

Proven ability to identify critical issues, filter noise, influence change, self starter who is naturally motivated to take on new challenges.^^

Knowledge Skills: In-depth functional and technical knowledge of multiple Oracle applications modules and versions. Application modules including but not limited to sales, service, financials, manufacturing and distribution

5+ years experience working in an IT business applications role within a multi-national company.

Expert in business process transformation and application of information technology to enterprise.

Demonstrated success in Oracle application implementations, upgrades, integration of Oracle or 3rd party applications solutions.

Proven ability to perform gap analysis between existing and proposed solutions and a successful track record of closing the gaps.

Executive communication skills (both verbal and written); able to develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiences.

Ability to develop triple constraint trade-offs of solution and benefits applied to the roadmap.

Manages conflict, indecisiveness. Operates effectively in ambiguous situations.

Combines initiative, creativity and excellent communication, decision-making and persuasion skills to resolve critical issues at the highest levels of the organization.

Understands the strategic implications and opportunities of initiatives to the vision for Oracle and roadmap.
