Primary responsibilities of this role may include: Contribute to all phases of the development cycle for all assigned
applications
Plan, design, implement and support efficient and cost effective application
software solutions
Works with full development life cycle, which includes: User requirements,
user design, technical design, detailed design, programming, testing,
production, documentation, implementation and support
Analyze specifications and perform program/database design activities
Produce structured, commented Code based on the documented requirements
Prepares and maintains system documentation and follows proper naming
conventions
Conducting design and code reviews
Conducts feasibility studies for project requests received
Develops test plans, perform unit and integrated testing of software
Participate in issues resolution and change control processes
Work closely with the other teams with the Development and Technology
Services Organizations to achieve a mutual end result
Perform unit and integrated testing of software
Prepare and maintain system documentation
Provide in-depth analysis and resolutions to web technical issues
Solve technical problems or recommend alternative solutions to team members
and leaders
Resolves technical issues and researches best practices for the monitoring,
support, maintenance, and implementation of applications
Will conduct technical 'hands on' implementation work and will closely
liaison with support and testing departments
Must be able to analyze/translate business needs into effective technical
solutions
Works on components of large complex projects with minimal guidance;
Models the inputs, outputs, key functions, steps, value-added tasks and
organizational structures in business processes and information flows.
Gather, compile, interpret, synthesize and normalize information from
business processes or technology systems.
May have technical specialization for designing testing and deployment
strategies for projects.
May indirectly supervise staff on a project/event basis
May Manage small-medium sized projects
Coordinate and communicate a solution’s status with all other groups
Manage a solution team
Ensure development is performed to the specifications
Education and Other Typical Requirements
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is
preferred and four plus years relevant work experience.
Productivity, initiative, professionalism, customer service attitude,
attention to detail and quality, ability to multitask, team focus, strong
interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and
adherence to firm and US IT standard operating procedures.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Strong skills utilizing Lotus Notes databases and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of technology/software relevant to team
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary for day-to-day operations and
occasional weekend or after-hours coverage. May be required to carry cell
phone, pager or blackberry.

Familiarity or experience with Project Management skills

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is
preferred and four plus years relevant work experience.Essential Requirements:
Required Experience:
At least three years of development experience in Lotus Notes/Domino R5 +
including web solutions, LotusScript, and Java Script.
Knowledge with C++ using Microsoft Visual C with the MFC, ATL, and STL class
libraries
Experience with Notes C or C++ API is preferred
Experience in ASP, Java, HTML, VBScript, Javascript, Perl and other web
related technologies, including web services and C#, is a plus. J2EE
knowledge in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing large scale,
complex mission-critical applications requiring high availability.
Knowledge with J2EE Technologies EJB (1.1 & 2), JSP, Servlets, JDBC,
XML/XSL/XSLT and providing solutions using these technologies.
Knowledge and Implementation experience with Web Services technologies
specifically SOAP, WSDL and UDDI.
Data design and conceptual knowledge of Oracle database server
Knowledge with Single Sign On products (i.e. Netegrity Siteminder) preferred.
Significant experience with portal and web service technologies.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) tools.
