Ocean Optics, the world leader

Ocean Optics, the world leader in fiber optic sensing applications has an
immediate opening in the Fiber Optic Product Division for a mechanical design
engineer. Responsibilities will include developing new fiber optic probes and
assemblies, developing fixtures to automate manufacturing processes,
developing "state of the art" opto-mechanical systems to compliment Ocean
Optic's diverse range of applications, developing documentation and
manufacturing procedures.


Qualified applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor's
degree in Engineering.
Must be familiar with Solidworks or an equivalent version of
3D CAD.
At least a basic understanding of optics and Fiber Optics is
ideal
Experience with ISO9000 procedures and documentation.
Solid personal organization and time management skills
Highly motivated and detail oriented.
Fabrication experience and problem solving skills Salary will be commensurate
with experience
and qualifications.
