Network Services Manager

My Client has an opening in the Information Technology Department for a Network Services Manager in our Washington, DC Office. The Network Services Manager is responsible for the administration, monitoring and maintenance of the firm's voice and data network to maximize availability. This includes the network infrastructure, server infrastructure and co-location facilities. The Network Services Manager oversees the Network Engineering staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Four-year college degree.
Minimum of five years' experience in the design, management and implementation of large enterprise networks.
Minimum of three years' supervisory experience.
Windows 2000/NT experience required.
Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS and MS Active directory desirable.
Experience in managing SANS and VM environments.
Experience implementing, administering and maintaining Cisco switches, routers and firewalls highly desirable.
Experience with VoIP and Cisco CallManager a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
The ability to analyze problems and identify appropriate and cost-effective solutions is key to success.
