Network Quality Assurance

Purpose: JOB PURPOSE: To find, log and verify software defects and help ensure on-time delivery of the product.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Certify that products are ready and meet strict standards as previously set forth.
-Automate routine tests using scripting and/or other automating techniques.
-Find, log and verify software defects and help ensure on-time delivery of the product.
-Creation and implementation of test cases.
-Improve overall quality and reliability of products.
-Monitor test execution, and helping guarantee application stability and performance.
-Collect and organize performance and reliability metrics.
-Perform documentation reviews, and ensuring that the product meets the specifications outlined in the Development Functional Specification.
-Experience with network configuration, such as DHCP and DNS, and networking security (ACLs, user accounts, etc)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a four- year college or university; or 4+ years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience:
-2+ years of software testing/programming in a .net environment is required.
-1+ years of computer management experience is required.
-1+ years of experience with T-SQL, SQL 2000 DBA Duties, Stored Procedures, Views and overall best practices is preferred.
