Network Project Mgr

Summary: Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Services clients through the operational management of project management associates, in order to deliver agreed products and services to specification. Focuses on cost containment, process improvement and standardization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervises specific projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
• Works with senior manager to maintain processes, documentation and resources which ensures on-going service and delivery of product according to agreed business requirements. Develops 'best-practices' to drive efficiencies.
• Prepares and analyzes schedules to help forecast inventory and/or resource requirements. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• Leads and directs the work of others. Ensures effective training to achieve high professional operating standards. Provide operational leadership to a team and ensure that the team delivers on objectives.
• Prioritizes regular operational activities and advises senior management of potential difficulties.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be self-driven and able to take on the responsibility of carrying through with the tasks assigned. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of networking is a plus.

Complexity of Work: Moderately routine; general policies applied. Some decision-making.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a related field preferred.

Experience: 3-5 Years: of relevant project management and banking industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Skilled in organization
• Ability to handle simultaneous projects and prioritize activities
• Ability to supervise, manage and motivate others effectively
• Ability to influence people and build strong relationships with clients & co-workers
• Ability to be client service orientated with a commitment to increasing customer value
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to problem-solve
• Ability to be detail-oriented, multi-task capable and able to work under pressure and within deadlines
• Ability to be flexible according individual skill level and/or as position evolves
• Ability to coach/counsel subordinates for development, evaluation and discipline
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and public
