Network Operations Tech-DNS

Purpose: TEKsystems is seeking a Network Technician with DNS and IP Protocol experience for a contract to hire opportunity with a large telecommunications company in Northern Virginia. This opportunity requires shift work flexibility.

Description: Scope of Work: Familiarity with completing customer Domain Name Service (DNS) requests. Experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) a plus. IP Implementations experience a plus. Requires a high attention to detail and ability to work in a call center environment.

Requirements: Education: Associate or college degree preferred plus 2 years formal electronics training or equiv knowledge through experience.
