Network Designer

Manage voice and converged network requirements anddesigns to support standard company solutions. Influences major critical network technology projects. Investigates and recommend use of emerging network technologies for Voice, Video and Data in alignment with architectural direction for Traditional Voice, Voice and Video over IP.Lead technology insertion projects to include managing vendor contractual obligations and Service Delivery activities including daily performance and quality Prefer a bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline and at least 4 years experience with telecommunications Voice, Data or Video networks.

Telephony Asset business planning (Voice mail, PBX & 5E)Asset Capacity planning & managementAM&C planning & vendor managementVendor cost transaction managementTechnical & End user training plans (strategy)End-to-End Service Delivery & VOIPTechnical Integration External vendor management & coordination (Traditional Voice, VOIP)Internal vendor management & coordination (Internal Company and External Suppliers)Coordination of Product evaluation, readiness, training , introduction and deployment w/internal organizations and contracted Suppliers.Consultation to internal vendors/partners & External Vendor on end to end product solutions to meet customer requirements Business Impact & Cost Planning w/Business Unit, SDM and External & Internal Vendor Initiative Management Major projects and user generated initiatives to include inter-operability, Voice Mail within Traditional Voice and Voice Over IP environments Business Case Support Forecasting, high level budgeting, coordination & planning with the SDM & Business Unit.
