Network Analyst I/II-NOC

Min Pay Annually: $38,800.00
Min Pay Hourly: $18.65Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Tier II operational support for Windstream’s broadband customers. The position will generally interface via phone and trouble ticketing systems with Windstream technicians and front-line technical service representatives. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data networking, particularly experience with ATM, ADSL, and/or IP networks is desired. Good customer service skills are a necessary component of the job. This position will involve Saturday, Sunday, and/or Holiday hours as well as regular weekday hours. In addition, it may also require early morning or early evening hours.Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electronics and 4-6 years electronics experience with 4+ years directly related to the job and 2+ years of digital experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for experience.Education:
2-year degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience required. 4-year technical degree preferred.Desired Experience:
2+ years experience with IT/LAN/WAN in an operations or help-desk environment
2+ years troubleshooting network elements, protocols, services, and transport layer problemsDesired Qualifications:
Knowledge of central office transport equipment including test methods
Understanding of ATM and/or frame relay services
Knowledge of ADSL equipment, protocols, and networkingCertificates/ Licenses:
Cisco CCNA desiredThere is no relocation package offered for this position.
