The Network Analyst develops, maintains, and implements program data network solutions. The incumbent demonstrates technical proficiency to provide the effective control of hardware and software processes designed to achieve optimum performance and provide acceptable levels of customer service within corporate and budgetary guidelines. This position requires creativity and a solid understanding of networking concepts.

Essential Duties:

•Develop, implement and administer processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, recoverability, optimum performance and backup of operating system software, file server computer hardware, network hardware and supporting the environmental equipment to meet the information processing needs of the program.
•Prepare and present reports that keep management abreast of the status of projects and technical problems.
•Analyze current practices and suggest improvements.
•Collect and analyze data related to network performance, server interoperability, and data flow in order to optimize system performance.
•Capable of working in a variety of conditions.
•Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-platform networking environments and the understanding of the protocols involved in networking or a combination of training and experience.
•Experience with troubleshooting trusts, interrelationships, and security schemas.
•Experience in working within technical project teams.
•Solid written and oral communication skills
•Ability to work without direct supervision.

Desired Qualification:

•Professional Certifications such as MCSE or Cisco’s CCIE.
•Experience working on Intelligence Systems.
•Experience with software and system configuration management
