NOC Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, and daily EDI operation. This position requires working with customer EDI representative, third party EDI networks and company personnel to ensure quality and reliability of EDI transmissions. Time not spent on these duties is spent on general department programming and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have a college degree or equivalent related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience. AS400 and RPG programming experience is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•EDI trading partner setup and maintenance.
•Provide user support for EDI as well as general company requests.
•Responsible for interface development between EDI system, ERP systems, and customer systems.
• Responsible for systems development as required to fulfill customer requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

* RPG Programming
•Undergraduate degree or equivalent, or 5 plus years related EDI experience.
•Ability to conduct EDI upgrades and customer specific mapping.
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents according to company standards.
•Ability to effectively communicate on a professional level with customers, vendors and all level employees.
•Trusted link experience required. Extol experience preferred.
