Job Description
We are seeking a local Chicago area candidate to fill a .Net SQL Application Developer position. This is a full time position requiring minimal local travel. The desirable candidate must be highly motivated, seeking a long-tern career opportunity. The candidate must have experience designing and developing applications using Microsoft technology with emphasis on quality rapid application development. The candidate must be able to work efficiently in a small team environment, and will have extensive client interaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Experience - Specific Skills
.NET to build ASP.NET applications (using VB.NET and / or C#.NET)
Dynamic HTML, JavaScript and Ajax
ASP 3.0
VB / VBA Access
Crystal Reports
SQL Reporting Services
MS SQL (transact SQL, DTS, stored procedures, triggers)
Job Experience - General Skills
Proficient rapid application developer who can get going immediate
Different layers of an application (business logic, data layer, presentation layer)
Understanding of object oriented programming
Understanding of web services
Integrating 3rd party controls
Forms Authentication versus Windows Authentication
Job Experience - Helpful Skills
SharePoint
MS SQL admin experience
IIS and Web application deployment
MS Server Operating System
