Excellent Opportunity for a MySQL DBA!
6 month + contract

Must be local to Atlanta or willing to relocate to Atlanta

Rate is based on experience

Our client in Atlanta, Georgia has an immediate need for a MySQL DBA. Will be responsible for Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning and Database Optimization. Will also set up Master Slave configurations to work efficiently with applications, Setup and maintain InnoDB scheme compatible with application, Quickly debug and resolve database, production environment stable, Model MySQL tables, and maintain database tables.

Preferred Skills: DB2, Shell Scripts, AWK scripts

REQUIREMENTS
Expert MySQL DBA on Linux Redhat. Minimum 2 years experience with MySQL as a DBA. Must have experience Performance Tuning, Setting up Master/Slaves, Archiving, DB Backups, Explains, Indexes, SQL programming, DB monitoring, DB upgrade (preferably to MySQL InnoDB).
