This selected candidate for this position will design, develop and maintain web based support/reference materials including, but not limited to, technical specifications, web sites, product announcements, product manuals, help systems and quick reference cards. This information is used to instruct agency, vendor, and airline customers, as well as internal personnel, on the use and functionality of the Worldspan GDS, distributed software, hardware, e-Commerce products and Airline Services. Participate in the development of the monthly internal Product Strategy newsletter including writing articles, editing articles, coordinating placement and distributing.Qualifications
Working knowledge of internet/intranet technology and web development software such as Photoshop/Paintshop Pro, HTML, Dreamweaver and RoboHelp.
Knowledge of Worldspan product/mainframe functionality and travel agency operations preferred.
Proficient with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation and web-development applications.
Familiarity with training principles, instructional design theories and/or training development.
Excellent organizational/time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work under pressure in a deadline oriented environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand and convey detailed technical information.
