Mid/Sr. level Oracle Database Developer

My client, a large international music/entertainment industry leader has asked me to identify a very strong Mid/Sr. level Oracle database developer to assist with multiple projects taking place within their environment. Heavy PL/SQL coding and UNIX scripting, experience with PERL would be helpful but not mandatory. They are upgrading to Oracle 10g, from 9.
REQUIREMENTS
My client needs someone with good analytical skills, and excellent communication skills are a must. This role will involve lots of data investigation. This role requires learning the business to properly investigate data issues. Must be able to work independently, and take tasks from the manager and run with them.
Tasks will include – automation of an error log, to produce reports and send emails to the Manager when errors are serious. Schema changes and DB modeling, creating tables & indexing... Performance tuning can be done by DBA group so it's not a must but maybe a +.

This database supports a Content Publishing System, and a content management system, in support of my clients Web sites.

This is a long-term assignment with the opportunity for a right to hire. Position will start initially in Mid-Town Manhattan but the office may be moving to Lyndhurst, NJ sometime in the first quarter of 2007.
