POSITION TITLE: Microsoft Exchange Analyst
SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED: SecretPRIMARY FUNCTION(S)USAF client is deploying regional data centers to house enterprise-wide applications. The first application to be hosted will be Microsoft Exchange 2003. Exchange 2003 will be part of a Microsoft Active Directory implementation that was previously deployed across the enterprise. The team will migrate all mailboxes from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. The current Exchange environment has servers located at 17 locations while the final architecture will consolidate mail services to four regional data centers.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESCandidate will be responsible for refining migration procedures as well as migrating 130,000 mailboxes from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. Exchange Migration Wizard 3.1 from Aelita Corp will be utilized to migrate mailboxes from 17 different bases sites to four regional data centers while maintaining mail delivery and Global Address book services. Candidate will be a member of one of several teams performing the migrations. May also assist a team in upgrading Domain Controllers to Windows 2003. Candidate will be required to develop documentation and provide informal training on Exchange 2003 administration to technical personnel.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000/2003; Windows 2000/Active Directory; Windows XP; DNS and Networking Protocols; Strong written and oral skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Scripting skills (VBS, Perl, Command Line, Batch files, etc.); Server clustering and load balancing experience; Experience with Aelita or other Exchange/Active Directory migration tools.WORKING LOCATIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO
