Metrics Architect

A Metrics Architect will be called upon to design and implement performance targets and measurement systems that drive business processes at Grainger. Metrics architects should be comfortable with ISO, Balanced Scorecard, and/or SAP. Metric architects will strive to ensure cross-process efficiency and effectiveness.

- Performance-driven, with proven leadership skills, project management skills, and business acumen.
- Outstanding knowledge of business processes and interrelationships within SAP and the Grainger business
- Strong expertise with Balanced Score Card
- Excellent statistical training and application in a business environment
- Broad industry knowledge of best practices in business analytics and measurement
- Excellent presentation skills with solid oral and written communication capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issues.
- Demonstrates a keen desire to continually learn and grow; motivated by challenge.


?Works directly with Process Leader in a functional area to support business improvement initiatives
?Researches, designs and advocates performance targets and measurement systems to monitor achievement of the strategic objectives set forth in the Grainger Balanced Score Card
?Involves Grainger Performance System toolsets in all work projects as appropriate
