Meditech Physician Liaison QV (5388)

Physician Liaison Perot Systems Corporation has an opening for a Clinical Systems Specialist and Physician Liaison to join our Meditech Team. This position may be home based anywhere in the Western US, approximately 75% travel is required.Job Responsibilities

Serve as key physician contact for major Meditech Advanced Clinical Applications implementations and patient care delivery redesign

Collaborate with Physician Champions and Change Management Consultants to promote project acceptance in the physician community and facilitate physician adoption

Act as the liaison between the physicians and the project teams

Coordinate activities with the hospitals Medical Staff Services department

Coordinate physician training and go-live support

Facilitate Order Set development processes

Participate as a member of the project Physician Advisory CouncilRequired Skills

In-depth knowledge and experience with clinical processes, policies, and procedures in the hospital setting

A minimum of 3 years of Healthcare IT experience

Experience successfully influencing physician acceptance and adoption of new systems

Solid foundation in Meditech clinical applications

Excellent communication skillsDesired Skills

Experience implementing Meditech's Advanced Clinical Applications (PCS POM)

Clinical education or certification such as the RN
