Marketing Technical Writer/Editor

We are committed to making a difference in these critical areas by providing technical services that solve such global challenges.Update existing written marketing material/collateral (e.g. brochures, handouts, web site content, writing/editing articles for internal/external release). Assist in writing new marketing material content (e.g. proposals, brochures, handouts, presentations, instructional materials, technical illustrations, photographs, diagrams, charts). Assist in the maintenance of marketing documentation repository/library.
Archive published marketing documentation.
Assist with special projects and other marketing/business development support activities as necessary. Edit/proofread and provide suggested changes to documentation (online and hardcopy) written within the marketing (corporate and business development) department. REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 2-5 years work experience in marketing-related fields, as well as 8-10 years of overall experience as a writer and editor in a technical area. Must have intermediate to advanced skills in MS word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Must have intermediate skills in Excel and Access. Must be somewhat familiar with and have regular (basic) skills in PageMaker, Photoshop, Web Software (e.g. Flash 7.0 preferred).Must be creative, an excellent communicator (written and verbal), and an experienced team player. Must be able to multi-task, function effectively under strict production deadlines and time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and be able to prioritize. Must be flexible (i.e. work sometime flexible or extra hours to meet proposal or other marketing deadlines), organized, a fast learner, and detail oriented. Must possess exceptional writing and editing/proofreading skills, require minimal guidance and supervision, and adapt quickly and efficiently to changes.
