Manager, Cross Services Systems Business Requirements

Major Duties:
Manage team of Requirements Analysts responsible for generation of technical requirements from business requirements with direct focus in the following areas: Video and CHSI provisioning, cross-platform Service Data management, and Network Management Systems
Back up other Cross Services Systems Requirements Managers and team members with requirements responsibilities focused on Voice provisioning, Operational Support Systems and Decision Support Systems
Set strategies, direct, measure, improve, and report on requirements initiatives
Assess and evaluate the needs of the business to assign project resources to meet company goals/deliverables
Negotiate solutions with business partners within and outside of the organization for optimum operational outcome
Leverage a strong working knowledge of Service Delivery, Service Assurance and other network processes, and define new systems requirements for various internal and external vendors to enhance the delivery of the suite of Comcast services.
Create business cases to measure ROI of proposed changes/enhancements to systems.
Partner with the Release Control Office to ensure that system releases meet Business Unit needs in a timely fashion.
Solid understanding of telecommunications operations
Firm understanding of provisioning and network management systems
Knowledge of at least two Comcast product
Travel required.
Carry Pager/Cell Phone 24x7.
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of all Comcast lines of business
Demonstrated Understanding of Comcast IP Provisioning Systems, Architecture and the departments that support the current Provisioning Solution - e.g., Bedrock environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred, or equivalent in work experience and self-study
