Mainframe and Client Server Developer

Purpose: COBOL & VB Developer Candidates must have 4+ years of successful work experience as a

programmer/analyst within a software development organization, in either

mainframe or client/server experience.

- More than 4 years experience with DB2, DATACOM, COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO,

ROSCOE, ENDEVOR, VB 6

- Experience with .net technology is a plus

- Experience with SPUFI, QMF tools, Platinum, Tivoli, MS-Query and/or SQL

- Ability to effectively communicate between management and team members

- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

- Experience in gathering business requirements, translating them into a

systems solution and managing customer expectations desired.

- Strong ability to develop functional analysis and design specifications.

- Ability to work with a diverse group of people, be open to ideas of

others, and change directions quickly if necessary for project success.

- Assist management with the implementation of a design process that will

ensure business owner goals and objectives are translated into products

that meet business, user and technical expectations.

- Must have strong analytical, time-management, problem-solving and

decision making abilities.

- Must demonstrate effective team building and interpersonal skills.

- Must be able to maintain overall project documentation.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to analyze data and data relationships

- Ability to translate both business requirements and technical details

- Ability to lead the effort of design, development, and code reviews

- Ability to independently design programs and test plans

- Strong testing skills

- Excellent listening skills

- Knowledge of CMMI concepts is a plus



Experience and knowledge of any reservation & fulfillment business

processes and application highly desired.
