MTS Engineer
Contributes to the research, design, implementation and sustaining of software networking functionalities for the next generation of WAN Acceleration products. Responsibility include addressing all issues relating to the TCP/IP Stack, Routing Protocols and other advanced features. Enhance and Support existing products to address immediate customer needs and challenges on an as-neeed basis. Job also involves interacting with Product Management, Customer Support and QA.
The candidate must have a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science. A 3-5 years of related work experience in software product development is preferred. Good working knowledge of TCP/IP dynamics, data networking protocols and routing protocols is also required. Direct experience implementing products in one or more of the following areas is necessary: VxWorks, Linux, Device drivers, IP routing, L2/L3 forwarding, QOS, VoIP, Caching, and TCP optimization. The candidate should have excellent C/C++ programming skills in developing networking application, networking modules and protocols. Good problem solving skills and effective communication skills are a must.
