MS SQL Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities: A major financial company, located in NYC, is looking for a Programmer/Analyst. Responsibilities involve participating in the maintenance, support, and development of tactical software solutions for a global equity investment management department. This position will allow the candidate to broaden his/her knowledge of the equity markets as well as helping to build tools to support a business area spanning portfolio management and trading and equity research across several types of investment disciplines. The workload will initially focus on short term tactical solutions; but based upon the skill level of the candidate, will broaden to longer term strategic projects.
