MS Project Specialist

This local company in Kent is seeking a MS Project Specialist. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing an application integrating MS Project files, MS Excel files, and multiple MS Access databases. There is no user developed VBA code in the application. The candidate will be responsible for general support of the MS Project environment with multiple shared resource pools and about 300 MS Project files connected to them. The candidate will participate in developing new MS Project templates from existing MS Project files and business process definitions. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess expert level skill with MS Access 2003, MS Excel 2003 and MS Project 2003. Familiarity with other MS Office 2003 tools – MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint. Familiarity with project management principles such as those defined in the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Familiarity with business analysis. Other duties as assigned.
