POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a self-motivated level 3 senior support engineer for an international financial software company. Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a technical support environment. An understanding of the banking and financial services business is a plus. Need to be an independent thinker and able to work as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a requirement. Candidate should also have a basic understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML, and XML. In particular, experience with IIS, Active Server Pages (ASP).


SKILLS NEEDED

MCSE 2000
MCDBA preferred
ERwin experience
Crystal Reports knowledge a plus
Supporting and troubleshooting IIS setup & configuration
Knowledge of LAN/WAN configuration
NT, Win2K O/S’s and networking
Able to conduct application performance testing and tuning using Performance Monitor
Install and Administration of SQL 2000 and 7.0, T-SQL scripting, backup and restore of databases
Active Directory/Group Policy experience a plus
24x7 on call support rotation
