Legato Administrator

Purpose: TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. level Legato Administrator, to assist our client.
This administrator will be responsible for:
- A 3-server Legato Networker backup environment that performs direct-to-disk (using EMC Clariion CX700) backups of ~300 clients, and clones/stages data to three Storagetek robotic tape libraries for offsite archival.
- EMag Mediamerge TMS vault management software
- Performance tuning of enterprise backups
- Monitoring backups, and performing break-fix tasks
- Adding new clients to system
- Migration of backup servers to new network VLANs
- Troubleshooting TCP/IP communications across firewalls, in conjunction with our Network Engineer
- Escalating issues with vendor
- Mentoring junior/intermediate level staff
- Developing documentation
