Learning Operations Manager

The Learning Operations Manager has global responsibility for achieving operational excellence supporting the needs of prospective learners, their managers and Lawson staff. The Manager will implement and manage our new SumTotal LMS TotalLMS , manage the customer service function, develop classroom schedules, and coordinate instructors/resources needed to conduct successful training classes in those regions. The Manager needs to be process-oriented with a strong technology/systems background and with proven experience managing teams.Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor degree in a related field and /or equivalent project/program leader experience
. 3 years management experience or equivalent project/program leader experience
. 3 years training program administration, and/or teaching experience
. Ability to effectively build working relationships with other key departments in Lawson e.g. LU, Marketing, Finance, etc.
. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships
. Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment
. Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills
. Proven ability to learn and comprehend technologies and the impact on business
. Proficient use of office-related automation: PC, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
. Ability to perform regional and/or national overnight travel 20 -40Preferred Qualifications:
. Previous software vendor experience
. Knowledge of Lawson Software applications
