Summary:
A member of the Onsite group is required to have the skills/background/education necessary to provide PC support by planning, managing, monitoring, testing, deploying and supporting the client platform. Members must combine technical acumen with an ability to incorporate and support Nestle standard technology in the business community.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
'Manage the deployment of client hardware and software to clients
'Provide support for client platforms
'Interact with other IS/IT groups for technology deployment and problem resolution
'Test and analyze internally developed applications prior to moving into production
'Manage client hardware and software deployment process, including building, testing, customer approval, training and presentation to client
'Understand and maintain vendor provided shrink-wrap software applications
'Understand the business function of assigned departments
'Gather user requirements, define scope, cost and timetables for deployment projects
'Manage the introduction or upgrade of hardware and software technologies

Typical Tasks: Gather customer requirements, provide solution to requirements, manage assigned client software/hardware upgrade projects, interact with vendors to solve unique problems, understand software installation processes, analyze and present solutions to problems, provide end-user support for hardware/software, collaborate with other IS departments for solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: BA/BS degree preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years information systems experience in desk-side PC support. Windows 2000 Operating Systems image deployment and distribution software applications; Microsoft applications; technical problem solving; demonstrated customer service and excellent communications, oral, written and presentation skills.

Pluses: Knowledge of Dell desktop and laptop computers, software testing and MS Office Suite.

Other: Flexible work start/end times, occasionally available for Saturday work; ability to travel a few times a year; dependable.
