Lead Service Integrator - LSI
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: * GE Phase Review Discipline (PRD) readiness.* Develops the Integrated Program Plan for Service and provides to the program LPI.* Conducts global service and org-readiness program reviews at appropriate milestones* Ensures global service and org-readiness catchers are prepared to approve appropriate program milestones.* Coordinates service engineering resources through all NPI activity and communicates resource needs to the LPI and their manager.* Represents the Service Engineering team on the program core-team.* Ensure training is ready for user, support and service audiences and that Early Readiness Training (ERT) activities for new product introduction occur at the appropriate time* Coordinates NPI global activity with service catchers in all receiving poles.* Ensures Support Readiness in all receiving poles.* Ensures service information systems have been loaded appropriately.* Ensures product documentation readiness* Ensures global service parts readiness* Ensures that the feedback process is in-place* Co-owns Global Service and Organization Readiness with the Lead System Service Designer.* Completes tasks and provide DHF deliverable documents to support eNPI activity* Provides service input to PPP and reviews and approves Service SRS and SDDS documents
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Familiar with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Workstation environments* BSEE, Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline* Demonstrated effective communicator to all levels of leadership * Experienced using the full Microsoft Office suite of applications and MS Project* Project management certification or demonstrated equivalent experience.* Minimum 3 years experience in a software product development environment* Demonstrated analysis and design experience* Must be able to travel periodically to locations within and outside the United StatesDesired: * Experience in a telephone support or other technical role* Six Sigma Black Belt Certified* PMI Certification - PMP* Experience in a field service role installing and supporting IT systems* Experience with GE RIS and PACS systems* Previous experience in a consulting role.
Familiar with the GE Phase Review Discipline (PRD) or similar development process.
An understanding of the medical device industry and regulatory requirementsGeneral: The Lead Service Integrator is responsible for leading the entire service development effort for an NPI program. The role entails extensive meeting participation and communication to other team members and leadership. Alignment with the larger Service Design Center of Excellence through the program LSSD ensures a comprehensive cross-program and cross-platform service capability continues to evolve and that new capabilities and strategies from other modalities are considered and included as appropriate. The LSI works closely with the program LPI to ensure resource coordination and conducts frequent reviews of service strategy and progress of development with global service leaders and catchers. The LSI is responsible for on-time delivery of the service and org-readiness deliverables and ensuring that receiving pole catchers are prepared to approve routed milestones. The LSI must communicate clearly and promptly any deviation or slip from the scheduled plan to the LPI so that appropriate remediation can be considered.GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies that are shaping a new age of patient care.
