Currently, Walgreens is seeking a Inventory Systems Project Coordinator/Programmer/Analyst who will develop and manage new applications, make enhancement to existing applications and provide production support for current applications.

Responsibilities:
Work individually and/or as part of the team. Work with users for project planning and requirements. Participate in full life-cycle development, work with the architect and team members to document, design, code, test and implement projects. Interact with the business users for requirement clarifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems/ Computer Science/ Management Information Systems. Masters Degree is a plus.
Hands-on knowledge of all phases of software development process from requirements acquisition through workload estimates, feasibility studies, high and low level design, implementation and testing to release and deployment to production.
Effective knowledge and experience in most popular software development processes: Waterfall (Modified Waterfall), Spiral, Iterative and Agile development, Rational Unified Process (RUP).
Creating workloads, scheduling and project tasks assignments.
Writing functional requirements and formal specification.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well with multiple teams with different disciplines.
Interfacing to vendors, customers, and other teams.
Flexible to learn and master new subjects.
Experience in Client/Server and Web based application development using Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies like JavaBeans, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Swing and JDBC.
Experience in designing applications using various models like MVC.
Working knowledge in relational database like Oracle 8i/9i on Unix environment and be able to work on PL/SQL and Stores Procedures. Knowledge in Microsoft databases (i.e. Access, Sybase) is a plus.
Experience in working with Unix environment using VI editor and written Korn Shells, PERL Scripts to perform small and repetitive tasks.
Experience in using Development tools like Visual Age for Jave, WSAD 5, and Rational Rose Object Model.
Experience in working Source Control Management tool preferably Microsoft Visual Source Safe
Working knowledge in VB, VC++, C/Pro-c, Microsoft Visual Studio and .Net is a plus is a plus.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a plus
Certificate in Java and/or Microsoft based products is a plus.
