Lead Java/J2EE, JSP Developer

Purpose: TEKsystems has an excellent 12 month opportunity available for a Lead Java/J2EE, JSP Developer in Plainsboro, NJ.

The Lead developer will be responsible for the support and implementation of marketing application developments. The candidate will be hands on technical, but also coordinate work with members assigned to the project and be responsible for the delivery of a specific application or portion of the application.

The marketing systems team is building Internet and Intranet applications. The team is focusing on supporting marketing application development, content management, application integrations with numerous vendor applications.

The candidate must have good interpersonal skills, good work ethic, have the ability to learn new, cutting edge technology quickly, and have the following experience:

Must Have:

-Experience in the design and development of web based application.

-Strong background in application programming, including design pattern and MVC with Strut architecture, Java, J2EE, JSP, XML/XSLT and web service technology.

-Experience of relational database design and Oracle development.

-Programming experience in Weblogic environment.

-Ability to work independently, take initiative and work well within a project group

-Knowledge of full project life cycle for software development.

-Strong Analytical skills, detail oriented but understanding of big picture

-Strong Time management and organization skills; Seeks to produce consistent Quality results.

Plus:

-Experience in Microsoft development (ASP, COM and .NET ) is a plus.

-System application integration experience - Plumtree, Netegrity, Siebel

-Experience in Content publishing solutions (Stellent)

-SQL Server database experience
