Lead Digital Print Operator

Merrill Corporation is a Document Service Management company that specializes in litigation copy and support services. We are currently looking for a highly knowledgable skilled Digital Print Operator/Lead with data management software and scanning experience to work at our Dallas Reprographics location. Your working knowledge must in clud software programs such as Concordance, Summation, IPRO and Doculux. You must have experience within a Reprographics Company or Retail Copy/Reprographics environment!

The responsibilities of this position require the individual to be “the” digital image and print expert in a production center. This professional is the to handle electronic image-to-print, hard copy-to-electronic image, client jobs. The specialist then does a technical, capacity, and workflow assessment of the client's desired output and determines what is needed to complete the job.

Basic Duties: Opereates a high volume printer that creates images electronically using an electronic computerized reprographics system. The system which scans images, stores images in a system memory to be printed according to customer specifications. Responsible for training, work assignment & leadership of Digital Print employees. Provides input in performance evaluations and personnel action decisions. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource to other to plan and accomplish tasks and goals. Applies advanced skills to the position. Adapts procedures, processes and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Works under general supervision.

Successful candidates must demonstrate leadership skills and ability to achieve results by pulling together appropriate internal departments and external vendors. Minimum of 3-5 years of previous related experience. Experience with Litigation Support and knowledge of DocuLux or URLaw software.

MUST HAVES!!!! Doculux Experience!!! Scanning!! Technical familiarity with printing, network systems, internet/intranet issues, Microsoft operating systems & applications.
