Lead Developer/Software Architect/Team Lead - Retirement
Mercer Human Resource Consulting Retirement Technology Group is seeking a Team Lead (Lead Developer/Software Architect) to join our team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Have a lead role in technical and architectural aspects of specific Mercer Human Resource Consulting Retirement Technology solutions to ensure consistency, quality, architectural integrity, and conformance with Mercer development standards. Lead the design, development and deployment of specific development projects. Provide business-impact-driven analysis and communicate results to stakeholders. Develop an understanding of, and contribute to the business strategy as it relates to software Manage and mentor development team, including shared service development team and contractors, in all aspects of software development life cycle (architecture, application design, tooling, best practices, documentation, standards, etc). Maintain production, staging, and development programming environments in conjunction with data center personnel Provide an extremely high level of service to internal and external clients Program in C#, .NET, and other MS technologies. REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
Track record of delivering large scale, complex and high quality technology solutions.
Experience in architecting, designing and leading development projects under tight deadlines.
Expert level knowledge of .NET, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MS Office integration.
Knowledgeable of technology trends and of the benefits and limitations of specific technology solutions.
Expertise in object oriented, modular, service oriented technology.
10+ years of software development and deployment experience.
Experience in modern software development methodologies and practices.
B.S. in Computer Science or related fields, Masters Degree a definite plus
Experience in deploying systems in data centers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability and willingness to proactively interact and achieve results in a large global company environment with distributed clientele.
