Lawson Administrator

Purpose: This is a large medical client in the Kansas City area.

We are currently seeking a senior business/technical analyst to serve as system administrator for Lawson applications - human relations, benefits and payroll.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience administering Lawson applications, configuring Lawson to meet changing business requirements, building interfaces with other applications, setting up and maintaining application security, trouble shooting, developing customized reports, maintaining systems through upgrades and service patches and providing primary support. Primary support includes acting in a lead role for application upgrades, vendor and customer contact, problem resolution and on-call production support. The candidate will work alone and in a team environment. Candidate will assist users in identifying, tracking, testing and implementing enhancements and is responsible for developing functional specifications from user requests including screen layouts, print layouts, data flow, and special logic or calculation requirements.


DESIRED BACKGROUND: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree and four years experience within the last seven years as a Senior Information Specialist or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of the Lawson Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll applications required. Excellent communication skills, analytical and good interpersonal skills are required, project management experience preferred. Knowledge of human resources and payroll department processes, BSI tax tables, or Web-based programming experience is preferred.

This is a contract to hire position with rate and salary based on experience. Candidates must be willing to work on site for this position. Candidates must be willing to convert to a permanent salaried employee after 6 months.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
