Land Supply Chain Lead

BearingPoint, Inc. is one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firm serving Global 2,000 companies, Federal Government agencies including the Department of Defense and other organizations. The company, provides business and technology strategy, systems design, architecture, applications implementation, network, systems integration and managed services.BearingPoint is currently on the third of a five year contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Columbus Ohio. DLA is a manager of four million parts for the Department of Defense supporting the Armed Services. This contract is focused on assisting DLA in identification of a subset of the 4 million parts they manage that represent business drivers and warfighter critical needs. In addition, the team performs analysis of looking for trends and patterns that can be exploited to DLA’s advantage in procurement and stockage of material. The Columbus team supports the Land and Maritime Supply Chains supporting the Military Services.This position will require daily interaction with the Government POCs. The candidate will manage data extracts, data cleansing, reporting requirements, in depth analysis, and thought leadership with the client.Functional Experience Required:
Knowledge of DLA or DoD logistics
3 years experience with VisualBasic Access (VBA)
3 years experience with Microsoft Access
3 years experience with Microsoft Excel
1 year experience with Microsoft Powerpoint
1 year experience with Microsoft Word
Microsoft Project experience desired
