Founded in 1993 as a dial-around long-distance provider, the company expanded in 1998 to offer residential domestic and international long-distance services throughout the continental US, targeting primarily Hispanic customers.
Summary: Analyze, design and develop lasting easy-to-use and easy-to-manage .NET solutions. In particular, replacement of redundant tasks by designing integration pieces that will inter-connect our various environments. The construction of re-useable objects and iterative designs that bring value to the development process. Create a control point for most of the MIS operations performed for our internal day-day operations, our customers, our vendors and investors. Develop replacement solutions for our legacy ones.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Primarily responsibilities are the development of a centralized management system. Secondary responsibilities are to service our other departments in regards to reporting and application support. Miscellaneous responsibilities may include emergency requests and special projects.
REQUIREMENTS


Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (AA/AS); or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Experience in Microsoft .NET development for at least 2 years. Has designed and built web, windows, classes, component and services. All designs reflect object-oriented principles and follow Microsoft guidelines. Experience in SQL programming (2 years), most notably Microsoft SQL Server. Some light experience with UNIX (Solaris) and Oracle PL/SQL development is a plus. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to manage a whole project. Ability to interact with other departments, analyze needs and gather requirements. Ability to think about the “big picture” when designing solutions.
