Major Responsibilities/Project:
Develop inbound and outbound data feeds using SQL stored procedures, XML and other technologies.
Help to translate external feed data to Apartments specifications and vice versa for projects assigned.
Support and enhance front-end and back-end applications written in SQL, ASP.Net, C# and other technologies
Develop small demand business critical projects using ASP.Net and other technologies.
Work within team responsible for the development support of production issues.
Work within internal Apartments groups to resolve issues.
Complete design deliverables and provide level of effort for tasks assigned.
Communicate project/issue status in a reliable and accurate manner through appropriate tools and processes.
Work within IT team to follow the full lifecycle development process working with project management, QA, development and technical operations.
Suggest and implement process improvements within the team
REQUIREMENTS
Jr. Software Engineer

Experience/Education/System Requirements:
Experience in SQL development skills: Transact-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
Experience using .NET and Visual Basic development skills.
Experience in developing a high profile website written using Microsoft .Net technologies a plus.
Experienced client-side web development skills a plus: HTML, Javascript, DHTML, and XML.
Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design concepts a plus.
Experience with mapping software such as Caliper Maptitude a plus
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
One or more years of professional software development experience.

Able to learn new technologies, applications and skills quickly - specifically on Microsoft platforms.
Able to provide estimates for tasks assigned that are accurate and achievable considering all aspects of the application development lifecycle.
Able to debug and resolve issues quickly

Strong team collaboration skills; ability to work well with internal teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to provide strong customer service skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
