Java/Java Swing/Websphere Developer with coding, some mainframe

Seeking a Java Developer with Java Swing and Websphere for an exciting position in a dynamic team at a growing, global corp. to work onsite at their headquarters in a NW Chicago suburb. This ia a great opportunity for a long term, permanent position which begins as a 3 month contract then converts you into a permanent employee with an outstanding benefits package.

- Be willing to become hired as a permanent employee by this global corp., after (or prior to completing) initial 3 month contract

REQUIREMENTS


KEY SKILLS NEEDED:

· 3-4yrs in IT, large, complex projects in Java/J2EE applications

- Full software development life cycle: requirements/design, unit/system testing of application code, documentation, implementation, maintenance, support
- Development of application code using Java/Swing/J2EE/Websphere

- Work with other internal IT teams on projects: Infrastucture, Architecture and Database teams.
- Worked in Unix & Client/Server

- Some experience with mainframe &/or DB2 is preferred
