COMSYS is currently seeking a Java/J2EE Software Developer with the eligibility to obtain a US Security Clearance for an opportunity located in Washington DC.

Job Description:

Currently, we are seeking a Java/J2EE Software Developer who is interested in taking a development project from start to completion.

As a member of a development team you will be a part of designing and coding applications that solve a variety of major business issues for a government agency.

The technology platform is comprised of Java, J2EE Application Servers (including JBOSS and Oracle), Oracle database all in a Solaris/Linux/Windows environment. Critical delivery of high performance Business Intelligence code in a reporting environment is required.

This is a very demanding position that requires several years of experience with a broad technology background with in-depth, hands-on architecture, design and development experience with Java and J2EE.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:

5+ years of software design and development experience with a proven track record.
Significant experience building systems with Java and J2EE and related technologies.
J2EE (Java, JSP) - at least 5 year
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to quality customer support.
Self-starter, sound judgment, the ability to work well with and influence others.
Experience performing application build and deployments to Solaris and Linux.
Knowledge of Object relational mapping tools, preferably Hibernate at least 1 year
Experience with Portal applications.
Experience using ANT build tools
HTML and general web development (including DHTML, javascript) - at least 2 years
Experience interfacing with Oracle database (some ability to understand, interpret and code using SQL, PL/SQL, general database development) - 3 years
Must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.
