Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests and implements enterprisewide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) Prepares application system specifications. Plans, implements and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance.
Typical Minimums:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
Specific Job Description:
Specific Description The candidate will assist in the planning, analysis, documentation, design and implementation of a Electronic Information Exchange (EIE) System. Must be able to support the team in analysis, design, development and testing of all required functionality iteratively, while incrementally developing a complete solution that is ready to transition to deployment as soon as is feasible. Must ensure that all developed technical artifacts are captured in iteration snapshots as a basis for initial and further development of the EIE application. Overall Requirements: Developer/architect with minimum of 5 years experience in designing and developing large, secure web sites. Must have: ? Demonstrated experience in supporting a technical team in the development of custom built web based, secure applications. ? Demonstrated experience in performing analysis, design and development ? Demonstrated advanced/expert use of the Microsoft IIS and SQL Server. ? The ability to provide independent web services and support in the development of a secure web solution, including the ability to develop a custom-built 3-tiered web based solution. ? Strong analytical and technical background with experience in all phases of software development life cycle and process development, and specifically posses experience in the RUP methodology. ? Ability to support a team of web developers, testers, and other development disciplines in implementing processes that ensure continuous quality objectives are met. ? Ability to serve as a resource to customer, other web developers on all phases of web development. ? Current knowledge trends in web development, and ability to be intimately involved in every phase of the project, identifying and resolving issues. ? Ability to work independently without supervision, but also in the context of a collaborative team environment. ? Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to facilitate frequent interfaces with customer to do need interpretation, requirements definition, and frequent status reporting. ? Certifications to demonstrate experience desireable.
