Java Developer - downtown - contract to hire or full time

Mid-Size Consulting Firm seeks a Mid to Senior Level Java Developer. Candidate can be a contract to hire or full time resource.

Client works on large scale projects with small project teams. Candidate must have experience with full life cycle development.

Ideal candidate will be willing to fit into any technologies around the Java/J2EE based projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Configuration Technical Analyst

· 3-5 years experience with large packaged software ex..SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards

· Experience working on 2 projects through the entire project life cycle from initiation through implementation. These projects should be significant projects similar in scope to Claim +.

Minimum is 1 project through the entire project life cycle

2 years experience with a scripting language like javascript, Vb script (any scripting used by Siebel)
Minimum 1 year experience

Familiarity with XML
Will not need to create new custom XML will be modifying existing XML so need to understand the syntax etc.





Integration Technical Analyst-Java focus

3-4 years experience doing custom Java development in a J2EE environment
2 years minimum

3-4 years experience with web services
2 years minimum

Experience doing Java development in a support of a packaged application vs. always supporting a custom build application
Solution design experience-not just looking for a developer
Not looking for a Java architect

Good communication skills, strong analytical skills
Ideally a broad technical background with extensive integration experience
