One of the Nation's leading Gaming Manufacturer's is looking for 2 Java Developers!! This is an immediate need!Extensive object oriented programming skills in player tracking system provided and applied to department and customer/client casino markets. Work with quality assurance, software design, middleware engineers, and senior managers to develop new system features and maintain current system and industry requirements. Assist in project management enhancements of system as necessary. REQUIREMENTS
Research, design and develop system software/firmware in conjunction with NAMB hardware product development. Apply strong C, C++, Java Developer experience to code new and enhanced development objectives; analyze objectives and problems specified by engineers and/or designers. Coordinate the testing scripts, documentation, and deployment schedule with the QA, Training and Documentation departments. Meet difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines. Troubleshoot and diagnose client issues and resolve in efficient and timely manner. Determines or coordinates purchasing requirements for programs or enhancements. Contact customers, as necessary, to attain feedback of stability and reliability of systems software; create and maintain solid customer relations and feedback. Some travel or customer phone support required.
May or may not supervise or train other systems engineers.
BSEE or BSCE from four-year college or university (Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field); or two to four years or more experience as object oriented programmer; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High degree of knowledge and understanding of computer systems, Java, C++, C, JDBC, Oracle, or other RDBMS, SQL Plus, networking; Unix and Linux experience.
