Java/ Delphi programmer

Candidate will work as an application team member designing and maintaining new and existing GUI code utilizing the current Delphi and JAVA SAP Khimetrics framework.Candidate will work closely with development and other technical resources to understand and integrate all applicable application, database, and processing components for the Promotion Planning Layout (previously known as AMP) application.Application support and new development of the Delphi framework components within the current AMP application Application coding and implementation of Java SAP Khimetrics framework components.Fulfillment of application requirements via Use Case documentation Integration of GUI framework components with database, processing, and scientific components.When appropriate, respond to application queries from R&D, QA, support and services associates, maintenance, debugging and application support.


Requirements:

Professional experience developing client-server applications using Delphi, Java 2, AWT.Swing Professional experience of database & SQL concepts.Professional experience in coding from design documentation (i.e. Use Cases, Functional Specifications).Ability to read and understand ER Diagrams.Professional experience with configuration management tools such as bug tracking software (i.e. Bugzilla) and version control software (i.e. CVS, VSS, PVCS).Professional experience with MS operating systems and desktops.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Delphi Look and Feel implementations (2+ years). Familiarity with Java GUI design frameworks (1+ year). Familiarity with UML. Familiarity with object oriented design concepts. Familiarity with Windows, Linux and UNIX.
