JD Edwards Support Analyst
Our client, a leading retail store design agency, is currently searching for a JD Edwards Support Analyst to join their award-winning company. The Support Analyst will provide level I analysis and technical support of J.D. Edwards Distribution & Financial applications (Inventory Control, Purchasing, Warehousing, Sales Order and AR), desktop hardware, peripherals and core Microsoft applications. *** Please send us your resume in Word format. ***RESPONSIBILITES:· Take internal customer calls to the Help Desk line, log the calls in Parature help desk software and work all assigned level I tickets for both Desktop and JDE Support.
· Analyze user issues and apply solutions or escalate ticket to other team members.
· Provide support for local and remote staff computing issues that may include troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
· Provide application support for standard applications including Microsoft Office.
· Perform general system administration duties for account setup, phone system, physical security, e-mail, etc.
· Analyze JD Edwards software issues and resolve level I tasks.· Configure application software, and supporting tools, utilities, or report writers. Understand JDE Dreamwriters and menus and be able to copy and change settings. JDE Security setup tasks and password reset. Network password reset.
· Develop and execute test plans· Provide application support to end users in distribution, financial, and master setup modules
· Work closely with programmers in debugging, and testing programs
· Work cooperatively with other IT team members to support a wide variety of software
· Develop custom reports using a client based query tool and publish to a web page.
REQUIREMENTS
· Associates Degree in Computer Science.
· 2 years of experience working with JD Edwards World distribution/financial applications experience.· Proficiency supporting Microsoft Office, Windows XP and desktop hardware.· Experience with PC hardware components and upgrades.
· Proficient knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Microsoft Internet Explorer, desktop configurations, MS IIS.· Excellent analytical and telephone communication skills.· Pluses would be experience with Query tools, IBM AS/400, A+ training, and JD Edwards certifications.
