JAVA / J2EE Developer

Our client, a large Bank in NYC is looking to hire Java developer to join a team focused on creating a platform for delivering metrics information to members of business units, operations and other IT teams. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a flexible team environment are a must.





Candidates need to have 5 years of Java development experience including J2EE and JSP experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:




- Strong Java development skills in a J2EE environment


- At least 5 years experience coding in Java


- experience developing JSP applications and SOAP/XML messaging frameworks


- database skills in either Sybase or DB2 (Should be able to create tables, procedures
and design a basic relational schema)


- Should be able to implement DB schema and develop Java code interfacing with it.


- Experience in a UNIX/Linux environment


- Experience with Perl, Python or some advanced scripting beyond ksh/csh/bash.
