JAMS JAVA Developer

Daily Responsibilities: Analyze and translate requirements into programming code using COTS vendor supplied SDK along with java libraries such as Hibernate, Axis, and JAXP. Design and development of software using Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, message-oriented middleware technologies and/or web services. Responsible for custom Java components that will interact with middleware to facilitate integration. Participate as required in evaluation and selection of platform components. Participate in unit and system testing activities. Participate in development of project artifacts such as technical requirements, system requirements, and the configuration management plan. Interface with integration developers to define optimal integration strategies. Experience in designing and implementing front-end, mid-tier, and back end modules.

The candidate should be experienced at dealing with customers and should have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work in a team environment with multiple contractors. The candidate must be self-motivated, capable of working independently, with a results-oriented attitude.
